Welcome
Welcome to our website. Fieldworkers Country Craftsmen was set up over 15 years ago in Woodhouse Eaves, Leicestershire by Maurice (Mo) Walker. We have established a reputation for best quality drystone walling, mortared stonework, hedgelaying, timber fencing and hedge/tree planting work.
We have worked for a broad range of private, commercial and agricultural customers most of whom continue to use us regularly. We undertake contracts of all sizes from one-day jobs through to projects taking several months.
Our main achievements include:
*£50,000 stonework contract for David Wilson Homes in Mountsorrel.
*Drystone wall helipad near Woodhouse Eaves.
*Stonework planters for Hathern Parish Council for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
*Drystone walling and landscaping including woven hazel work for Oakley Grange Organic Cafe.
*Restoring mortared stone walls in the medieval deer park at Donington Hall.
*Working at three of the cottages (all in different ownership) built by Ernest Gimson in
Ulverscroft including work for his great-nephew Donald Gimson.
